Sun is not always the same.

In Dalmatia this becomes very clear.
Not over the year.
But during the day.

In the morning it feels soft.
Low.
Sideways.

In the evening the same.
But different.

This is where many misunderstandings start.

Many plan sun protection
for midday sun.

Strong light.
Strong heat.
Clear direction.

But morning and evening sun
comes low.
And sideways.

It hits windows directly.
It creates glare.
And it is harder to control.

In daily use this becomes obvious.

Rooms feel uncomfortable in the morning.
Hard to use in the evening.
Even though sun protection is installed.

Why this happens.

Many systems are designed
for vertical exposure.
Not low angle light.

What works from above
lets side light pass.

And this light disturbs.
Not because of heat.
But because of glare.

The solution is thinking in orientation.

Good sun protection considers
not just surfaces.
But the daily movement of the sun.

East.
West.
South.

Each side needs a different answer.

Why this matters in Dalmatia.

The sun is strong.
And it stays low for long periods.

Anyone having breakfast
or sitting outside in the evening
feels this immediately.

Planned correctly
light stays pleasant.
Spaces remain usable.

My conclusion.

Sun protection is not uniform.

If you invest in Dalmatia
do not ask
how strong the sun is.

Ask
when and where it acts.

That creates comfort
from morning
to evening.
